Linear Technology Corporation was a Milpitas, California company founded in 1981 that specialized in high-performance analog integrated circuits. Known for precision, low noise and excellent documentation, Linear became one of the most respected names in power management and signal conditioning, and its LTC and LT part numbers are found in industrial, medical, automotive, communications and aerospace equipment. The Linear catalog includes switching and linear voltage regulators, battery chargers and management ICs, µModule power modules, operational amplifiers, voltage references, data converters and interface ICs. Analog Devices acquired Linear Technology in 2017. The products are now offered under the ADI brand, and many LTC and LT parts remain active, while older numbers are sought for repairs and long-life designs.
